Our friend John Hibbs came and visited us for a short time. We had not seen him in about 3 and 1/2 years. When we visited with each other it seemed like we hadn't spent any time away from each other. That is how it is with good friends. We like the snow on the roof, John........

Our Little Mystical Warrior

David joined a rec soccer team named the Mystical Warriors this spring. Let's just say that they are the "Harlem Globetrotters" of soccer. They really weren't interested in the final score but in having the best time possible. I must say that it was the most fun I have ever had at a sporting event! Kudos to Killing Competition!

This is the after party. We went on a scenic spring evening drive through the country with Quinton. We ended up at his house and met his cute blue rat. Afterwards we brought him home to pick up his sweet ride.   Easter 2008.

Mark's Farewell Sunday

Lance and Tami Kress held a wonderful open house for Mark on the day he gave his mission farewell at church. We figured out that we have over 160 people attend. Lance and Tami had a wonderful Italian pasta bar with a white chocolate fountain. The food was amazing and everyone that came had a terrific time. Thanks Lance and Tami for creating such a wonderful day for Mark!

Sam had just extended a call to the Young Men's Presidency to Ken Jarvis. He was shocked and not really thrilled about it.

Mark's talk was about how Christ's Atonement has impacted his life and how it has assisted him in preparing for his mission. He spoke from his heart with the influence of the Spirit. He is an exceptional young man who is prepared to walk into the world and share the "good news" with the people of Taichung Taiwan.
